As we are catching up with trendy fashion, color become an important ingredients in mens fashion designs.
So let look what are the top 8 men fashion colors trends in Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.
I always like Black, which is no issue to match with other colors. Black also used by many mens fashion designers in their 2010 collections, being it total black, or combination of black and other lighter tones.
Greens, made popularized by Lavin in his 2010 collection. A calming and refreshing color as well as easy on the eye! That's the color we all miss during summer with it’s greenery and warmth.
My another favorite combination so far, Grey and metallic. More and more mens fashion designers adopt these colors and put aside traditional colors that we used to.
Blue always relate to guys like pink relates to ladies. So there is no accident that Blue is one of the top pick by mens fashion designers this year.
Brown is the second neutral color and it is as popular as black. Brown looks chic and sexy and this makes it so popular in 2010.
My favorite White looks good and noble but I think this color will do better in spring and summer rather than in winter season.
Red is the most popular color and it just couldn’t stay away from men fashion in day one.

Man Fashion: Raf Simon 2010 Collection
Is Raf Simon's shows again. Simon, one of my favorite designer has released his latest Spring 2010 Collection in the mid of gorgeous garden in Paris.

According to Simons, this season is based the idea of "The Second Decade", where he no longer wants to dress teenage boys and is starting to target the "high-fashion men". The sense of maturity permeates the runway in sombre, jet black suits with crisp white button downs in the beginning.

The presentation then progresses into something slightly transgressive with long open coats with arms fashioned from bronze satin and the rest from a darker, heavier knit. Sleeves are removed from the blazers to create an elongated dress vest that is layered over color block knit tops, and translucent snake print tops crawl up the models' bodies like tattoos. Snakes seem to be a recurring motif in this season’s collection as it fashioned itself metaphorically as belts, and more literally in the form of what seems like a logo on jeans.

Men Fashion Maestro on Holiday Attire
Published by Details of Men.Style. Our famous Italian fashion designer, Giorgio Armani shared his "10 Rules of Style" for holiday attire. The things he stresses the most for any style are confident, timelessness, and keeping thing simple. Find out more about his 10 rules of style below.
1. When choosing a men suit, a man should look for something that he can wear, and not something that will wear him. In other words, elegance, sophistication, and timeless style are always better than of-the-moment trends, which will date—and date the wearer. 2. As for style, a two-button suit is more timeless than a three- or a one-button. A single-breasted is more versatile than double—allowing you to dress your suit up or down more freely and use the jacket as a separate more easily.
3. The most important thing is to feel comfortable in your clothes. If you feel comfortable, you will feel self-confident.
4. The worst sartorial faux pas you can make is looking like you’re trying too hard. To develop your own individual style, really consider what suits you.
5. If you remain curious about the world, you will stay young at heart. Beyond that, I recommend an hour’s exercise every day and a healthy diet with a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits.
6. The holidays mean a handsome velvet tuxedo jacket. If you’re entertaining at home and feel like it, you can try one in a midnight blue or deep plum and you should wear velvet slippers. If you go out, wear shoes—preferably wing tips. 7. When buying a men suit, go for a color that will not date too soon, like a mid-tone gray or a black.
8. When an actor, like George Clooney, is on the red carpet, or when a man goes to a formal event, he shouldn’t dress excessively—he risks becoming too much of a spectacle.
9. At black-tie events you can get away with a jacket that has a bit more of an extreme line, something that’s really fitted. And you can never go wrong wearing a clean white shirt.
10. Confidence and a sense of humor make a man sey. And having an Armani wardrobe doesn’t hurt either. For those who still remember, find out Armani's 21 rules to achieve style, which he shared with us a year ago.

Man Fashion: Designer Bags for Fall/Winter 2008
Winter season means restrained elegance. Long gone will be those bright, flamboyant colours and wild prints. In place will be smart checks, rich textures of leather, tweed and wool. I think our taste somehow changed as new season kicks in. Do you agree? McQueen Check Wool Travel Holdall So here is one lovely bag to lust over for this coming season. A beautiful check wool and leather holdall that embodies what winter weather is all about. Elegant, somber, nice mix of heavy check wool fabric and rich tan leather. Accented with decadent gold buckles against greys, browns and in a classic shape, all contributing to make this bag a wonderful winter travel companion.
Comes with a shoulder strap for ease of carrying as well. This bag will go well with those thick winter coats and wool pants that keeps you snugly warm. Paul Smith Brown Soft Briefcase With Green Leather Trim and Detachable Shoulder Strap I have always been fascinated with laptop bags. I am constantly on the lookout for a stylish, chic soft briefcase type bag that doubles as a laptop carrier and yet can function as a day bag for holiday sightseeing. Something that works through night and day and be complimentary to a lot of looks is important in my criteria.
Now Paul Smith Brown Soft Briefcase With Green Leather Trim just fit in the bill. The green color leather trim adds a dash of color but the deep shade of the green somehow does not make the bag too casual. It is elegant, classic and yet modern and playful. The external flap pocket with inverted studded strap opening look stylish, and is easily for retrieval of commonly used items and perfect for passports and flight tickets.

Man Fashion: Dress For 007
It's the season of 007 again. You bound to see plenty of tailored designer looks in the latest 007 flick, 'Quantum of Solace.' The movie, which stars Daniel Craig.

Dressing in line with a secret agent also means owning a high-impact watch, sleek weekend luggage and rugged footwear, preferably leather boots in brown or a dark shade, that allows for running after bad guys, jumping out of airplanes and gunning the engines of luxury sports cars in high-speed chases. You can't forget a wardrobe with dark-washed denim without embellishments, high-end cuff links and aviator-style sunglasses. And any true Bond man knows the perfect skivvies also are required.

So if you're looking to show your Bond side, there are several fashion (military-style jackets, boots and well-tailored trench coats and pants) and accessory (high-impact watches and designer luggage) options at Austin shops such as Bows + Arrows and Spartan on South Lamar Boulevard. Mercury Design Studio on Second Street has an assortment of cuff links, passport cases, retro-style cocktail glasses, and even collections of James Bond books, while men's store Keepers on Congress Avenue carries the rugged wares of Robert Comstock along with suits from Versace and Brioni.

Now it's your turn to free your inner Bond in style provided you willing to spend a little more time in the gym.

Man Fashion: Tom Ford With Moore and Firth
Tom Ford is finally going public with his movie plans.
As I told you earlier in my blog, the fashion prince will make his directorial debut with a movie adaptation of Christopher Isherwood’s 1964 novel, A Single Man.
Colin Firth will star as a gay college professor who is dealing with the death of his longtime lover. Julianne Moore costars as a lifelong friend of the professor’s.
While early talk was Jamie Bell would play one of his students, it turns that role has gone to Matthew Goode.

The story takes place in 1962 in Los Angeles. Filming will begin in L.A. on Nov. 3.
Ford spoke publicly about wanting to get behind the camera when he left Gucci in 2004. He acquired movie right's to A Single Man about a year ago.
He also started his own men's fashion line last year with stores in New York, Las Vegas, Dubai, Los Angles and Moscow, among many others.

Men Fashion Designer: Tom Ford's Dream Come True
I am sure everyone know Tom Ford. Come on, just do a simple googling, you should get tons of Tom Ford bio if you don't really know him.
After this fashion designer left Gucci in 2004, he spoke publicly about wanting to get into directing. After so many years, he is finally going to see his dream come true.

The former Gucci fashion designer is putting the final touches on his directorial debut of the movie adaptation of Christopher Isherwood’s 1964 novel, A Single Man.

Sources revealed that it looks like Colin Firth will star as a gay college professor who deals with the sudden death of his lover. The character is helped in his efforts by a lifelong female friend and one of his students.
Firth’s rep reported that "he’s in discussions" but it’s not a done deal.
Julianne Moore will play the friend while Jamie Bell has signed for the student role. The story takes place in 1962 in Los Angeles.
No studio is attached to the project, but Ford plans to begin filming in L.A. in November.

Man Fashion: Tommy Hilfiger's Spring 2009 Collection @ NYFW
Another fashion designer from New York Fashion Week, Tommy Hilfiger rolled out his Spring 2009 Collection with some big guns, including stylist George Cortina and DJ Jeremy Healy.

The mood was patrician: navy blazer, preppy pastel slacks, silk tie, or a suit and trenchcoat in the same shade of gray. A pale blue jacket paired with narrow navy pants felt like the sort of thing Alain Delon might have worn.

Though the show notes mentioned "the explosive freedom of early eighties dressing," it actually felt a little sixties, Hollywood-style, like these were the sort of clothes an account exec.
White and black are still the my ultimate choice, navy pants with white designer shoe look gorgeous.

Man Fashion: Michael Bastian's Spring 2009 Men's Collection
Once a year event, Spring 2009 Fashion Week just started few days ago. Michael Bastian has showed off his latest Spring 2009 Men's Collection. His first show provided an interesting opportunity to see the designer's own distillation of those multiple options.

Actually, it wasn't really a show, more a tight edit of 25 looks based around Bastian's latest American archetype. Focus on sporty short, bathing suits, and of course his signature freewheeling take on eveningwear, shawl-collared pink jacket, blue tux shirt, pale gray pinstriped pants.

Man Fashion Designer: Alexander McQueen Latest Fashion
If you think of any fashion designer in Europe, the first that strike my mind is Alexander McQueen.
With his countless provocative shows and outrageous designs, Alexander McQueen has created his style as the "Bad Boy" of fashion. The designer's potent mix of creativity, controversy and technical mastery has earned him three British Designer of the Year awards as well as a faithful celebrity followers such as David Bowie and Prodigy's Keith Flint.
In 1996 he was named the role of chief designer at Givenchy. Feeling creatively stifled by the couture house, whose founder he dismissed as "irrelevant," McQueen left Givenchy in 2000 and has since joined the Gucci group.

Man Fashion: Joseph Abboud
Today I would like to introduce a brand new premium men fashion style for you, for those who are in men fashion world for a while, this brand should nothing new to you.

Joseph Abboud's tagline, Style with Substance, pretty much sums up the American label's approach to Men Fashion. Stylish yet never overtly flashy, the label fancies itself as a sophisticated and enlightened alternative to pricier European Men fashion designers' brands, with apparel made for 'real men".

Fiercely proud of its made-in-America tag, along with accessories like cufflinks, ties, belts and many more are also catching men fashion world attention lately.

Business Attire - Signs of a Good Fit Part II
I am sure some of you must have been waiting this for quite sometime. First of all, I am really sorry as I was tied up with something else, and finally here I am to put down the Part II of Business Attire - Sign of Good Fit.
Jacket Waist
When you button your jacket, it should cinch tightly enough around the waist to create slightly visible tension lines.
Useful Tips: If the tension lines extend into a large, pro-nounced X-shape, mean the jacket is too tight!

Trousers Waist
The waist of dress trousers is designed to sit higher than casual pants. Nevertheless, you want them to sit comfortably, so wear them during your fitting as you anticipate doing regularly. Well, this is to ensure that you crotch is not dangling absurdly low in everyday use.
Trousers Fit
In keeping with the narrow silhouette that you've established from the waist up, your trousers should be trim throughout. Remember, is trim, but not tight! If your pants have pleats, they should not be pulling open from tension.

Trousers Break
Your pants should break once on the top of your shoe, and only once. They should be cut slightly longer at the back, so they hang roughly an inch above the ground, We shouldn't see your sock when you're walking, and neither your pants touching the floor while walking.

So here it end the Business Attire - Sign of good fit. I hope you enjoy and find this man fashion tips helpful.
