As we are catching up with trendy fashion, color become an important ingredients in mens fashion designs.
So let look what are the top 8 men fashion colors trends in Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.
I always like Black, which is no issue to match with other colors. Black also used by many mens fashion designers in their 2010 collections, being it total black, or combination of black and other lighter tones.
Greens, made popularized by Lavin in his 2010 collection. A calming and refreshing color as well as easy on the eye! That's the color we all miss during summer with it’s greenery and warmth.
My another favorite combination so far, Grey and metallic. More and more mens fashion designers adopt these colors and put aside traditional colors that we used to.
Blue always relate to guys like pink relates to ladies. So there is no accident that Blue is one of the top pick by mens fashion designers this year.
Brown is the second neutral color and it is as popular as black. Brown looks chic and sexy and this makes it so popular in 2010.
My favorite White looks good and noble but I think this color will do better in spring and summer rather than in winter season.
Red is the most popular color and it just couldn’t stay away from men fashion in day one.

Man Fashion Tips: How to Look for Designer Shoes Online?
When it comes to footwear, everyone has their favorites. For women, it may be a comfortable pair of ballet flats or a stylish trendy pair of heels. For men, a worn pair of loafers could top the list or the most comfortable pair of hiking boots. If you have ever owned a pair of Designer Shoes, then most likely, these are your favorite. It is not difficult to find designer shoes online, but not if you are trying to get discounted price rather than the retail price from the company's website. This type of footwear come with a good sized price tag, but for very good reasons. They are simply a treat to wear and to look at. They are created with superb craftsmanship, artistic styling, but all with an attention to comfort that outdoes the competition. They are truly a unique, comfortable choice in stylish footwear. When you look at a pair from most designer's, you can see the intense quality, but when you put them on - you can feel it!
So, if you're ready to find a great deal on designer footwear, we have 2 little tips for you.
There are knockoffs available for almost every designer product available and this includes shoes. If you purchase designers shoes other from the company's website, make sure you look for authorized dealer sites, or you can also find them at some of reputable websites that deal only in designer products.
If you choose to purchase from EBay or another similar auction site, be caution. Make sure you only buy from sellers with exceptional feedback and who have sold items for quite a while. Otherwise, you're likely to end up with a pair that is only a knockoff.
In short, you can find designer shoes online, but you just have to use some caution. There is simply no comparison for their quality, comfort, and styling. You don't want to spend your hard earned money on a knockoff pair. When you find the real deal, you should get ready to have a new favorite pair in your wardrobe.

Man Fashion Tips: All About Mens Shirts
Nothing new to men's shirts, this words is around us for many years, but whether you’re walking into a department store, ordering online• Men's Casual
• Informal/Semi-Formal/Cocktail - The dress code is less formal and calls for a dark suit, and a tie is not required. The men’s shirts best suited to this dress code are crisp, dress shirts that are long or short-sleeve. Since a tie is not needed, if one is worn it can be more bold than with a business attire. This kind of attire is perfect for cocktail parties, evening weddings or weddings that don’t state otherwise, or special events. It also lends itself well to museum openings and art galleries, or first dates and holiday parties.
• Men's Business Casual
• Traditional Business - The color palette should be muted or dark earth tones; generally, navy blue, black, dark brown, gray and sandstone are the best options. This attire calls for dress shirts for men that are less formal, so a button-down shirt with a Lay-down collar is sufficient. The shirt color should be white, off-white or a muted complement to the suit. Other options include a simple vertical pinstripe pattern.
• Business Formal-The appropriate men’s shirt is a white shirt in the French-cuff style, and the shirt should be fastened with cuff links. The suit is dark and tailored, with a silk napkin square and a simple silk tie with no ornamentation or busy patterns. Prices start at $14.99, with designer mens shirts could ranging from $217.00-$700.00.
• Formal - This can be the same attire as Black Tie, with a white men’s dress shirt, or dress code can be more lenient, with suits worn without ties or worn with black dress shirts; it all depends on the city and the formality of the event. The price ranges from $29.75-$165.00.
• Black Tie - Tuxedos are worn at these events, so the perfect men’s shirt would be a tuxedo shirt. Choose either stiff cotton or linen in white or off-white. The shirt can have a stiff front or more traditionally, Marcella, plain or pleated. Tuxedo shirts can have mother-of-pearl buttons or be fastened with cuff links and shirt studs. The collar can come in Lay-down, Wing or Wingtip, or Mandarin. Prices range from $7.95-$225.

Man Fashion: Is Skinny Jeans Dying Off?
If you thought you look totally awesome in your skinny hipster jeans, well you are wrong. The trend seems to be dying off and most people these days have begun to go for that eased look, which comes with jeans that are not skinny. In the Paris Men’s Fashion Week lately, Dior Homme, Lanvin, Hermès, Paul Smith and other big names in the men’s couture did not reveal any jeans or trousers that even bordered close to being skinny or tight.
The tight jeans, kohl fudged, spike haired look seems to be dying and a relaxed 90s look seems to be back. This could be a fallout from the recession as most of us do not care about fashion anymore? as some of us are not afford as before?
The solution seems to be in well tailored but unpretentious jeans that not only look good but also make you feel like you are not being vain when people are losing jobs. Hermès designer Veronique Nichanian showed to the world what well dressed men look like even without tight and skinny jeans with washed linens and vintage shirts. Of course, fashion is very personal taste, I'm not influence your decision, but if you are on the lookout for such skinny jeans
, think twice again!

Man Fashion: 2 Button or 3 Button Men Suits
The most important thing which has to be considered while choosing a men's suit is that it fits you perfectly either be formal or casual occasion.

2 Button Men Suits
So if you just stepped into the world of the urban working class and struggling with your wardrobe essentials. It should be mentioned early on that the casual laid-back clothing style no longer applies to this decade. It is a must that you are well-dressed and primped for work. It must be mentioned that the 2 button men suits
is the most popular choice for casual clothing these days.

Men’s fashion, for this year and the next, are all about classic styles and suits are moving back into the mainstream of men’s clothing. You have a lot of choices to pick from; the right style, design, color, and fabric.
To be perfectly suited up, find a suit that fits you, not too loose and not too fit as it can ruin the style that you’re aiming for. To be on the safe side, opt for 2 button men suits
.

So if you're out for the weekend club scene and it takes a lot of time and effort to just blend in with the crowd yet stand out as well. The differences between casual jackets or blazers from 3 button suits in terms of occasions and places where you can wear them are fairly indistinguishable. Now that men are becoming dressier and acutely aware of their own personal style, casual dressing now involves suiting up.
Perfect for everyday wear, the 3 button suit is flexible for random mixing and matching that appeal to the wearer. Of course personal style is personal style, yet trying to come up with a fashion statement may not be a very good idea altogether. There are still rules to follow.
To blend in with the hip crowd on men’s fashion, take time to adapt the latest trends and the 3 button suits that is the current fashion necessity for men nowadays. Only the most confident fashion enthusiasts can carry on wearing 3 button suits in a fashion-forward sense. Although both 2 button and 3 button suits are glamorous and timeless, the 2 button has seen better times over the last decades, leaving the 3 button suits to be used sparingly. The 3 button adds balance to tall men who, by the way, are the most common users of this type of suit. The extra number of buttons allows a full button up without risking looking short.
Seriously, be it 2 button or 3 button men suits is very much depend on your height, 2-button suit adds length for your torso since the V-point is much lower. So any man with a short torso would benefit from 2 Button Men Suits
, whereas 3 button men suits
will end up having the V-point of your lapels to be higher part of your chest.

Man Fashion: Men Fashion Trends for 2010
Fashion trends change every season, including in menswear. While it is untrue that clothes make the man, but a person attire do make significant difference to him, especially when it comes to putting together the right outfits for right occasions. The men fashion trends depend not only on the kind of social circle we belong to, but also on the environment we live in and the climate. But being fashionable does not mean that we have to buy all the designers' hottest items, that I mentioned previously in our blog.
From the simple polo shirts, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets to jeans to suits, they are all there in every man's wardrobe, the only change in latest trends may only be few new funky colors and few statements. The trends change, but the basics always remain. So let look how we move on from here. The first step is to play with colors in your primary garments. For office wear, many men tend to choose black and white outfits, because these colors are simple, classic and "safe", but life is not about black and white.
Even though you insist on wearing black, you can add something else or other colors like navy blue, light gray an even purple. Besides wearing a suit or blazer, you can opt for cardigans, which have been popular for a few seasons. Pair a retro-style cardigan over a button-down shirt and tailored pants. For a more casual look, a polo shirt is the best choice, topping the list of shirts. Wear a polo shirt with jeans, or match it with zip-up or hooded jackets.
Jeans are the all-time favorite for just about everybody. One current trend among urban hipsters and young fashionist are skinny jeans, that I talked about previously. Man should walk out of comfort zone, and try out new colors, not only on clothing, but also shoes. try to get some outstanding colors shoes for casual occasions, One last thing is tote bags. You can always opt for a tote bag for casual occasions. Tote bags may be a rather new concept for most men because they're more similar to women's bags. But the fact is there are many manly tote bags now. So don't be shy about using one. The important thing is to use your creativity to mix up things to get what you want. And if you have yet to understand the current trend, just keep it simple.

Men Fashion: Follow Your Own Style Revisit
I realized that more and more men today are focus on fashion and style, knowing looking good is an asset in every aspect of their lives: Business, personal or, social.
The fact is, a well groomed man is as important as his personality. In fact, most of you should agreed with me that first impression always count.
How to get a stylish look your comfortable with
Some men feel confident enough to do this for themselves, for those who are less confident an image consultant can be employed, to give help and advice. Alternatively, cheaper way is to learn from the web.

Men Fashion & Style
In today's world, to stay one step ahead, it's important to look your best. That means developing your own sense of style and this does not simply mean following fashions and trends for the sake of it.
There is a big difference between being stylish and just following the latest men's fashion trends for the sake of them.
A man fashion victim is someone who wants follow all the latest men's fashion trends regardless of whether they suit their body shape looks or, age and is someone who can't put his look together.

Looking your best does require a certain amount of effort, but ultimately, your clothes have to fit right, and suit your style, image and personality.
As I mentioned before, it's not about the clothes you wear -- it's about how you wear them.
There are enough styles out there, so I am sure you are comfortable finding your own style.
Be yourself
I always belief Wear what you think looks good, not what you believe is trendy.
You should always feel comfortable with what you're wearing, so stick to items that suit your personality and style, while keeping the occasion and setting in mind.
The key with men's fashion is always to match it to your personality, age and personal features.
Keep a good balance of basic and fashionable clothes in your wardrobe.
As a rule of thumb, not more than half of your wardrobe should not consist of trendy clothes, or worse, clothes that are out of style.
Finally, brand is always trendy and style, but it sometimes doesn't mean it will look good on you. So don't follow blindly.

Man Fashion: Relax Fit Trends in Fall/Winter?
Started from women fashion trends, shrinking fashion has since moved away from women fashion trend and hit man fashion world.
In the past few years, it seems that designers have had some strange inside joke going with the creation of skinny jeans, shrinking suits, and the vanishing break of men's trousers, making the likes of Thom Browne a fashion legend. Or maybe designers are simply prescribing their own belt tightening in this uncertain economy by using less fabric. Many embraced this 'restricted' fit, but others who braved the look for the sake of fashion were left holding our collective breathe, hoping not to put someone's eye out with a button projectile from our snug blazers.
Well if fashion forecast are correct, it appears relief may be in sight. This Fall/Winter fashion trends are showing a more relaxed fit. This doesn't mean that fashion designers are go back to the baggy, saggy ways of old. Instead, we are seeing a more appropriate relaxed fit that personifies an easy comfort that promotes physical fitness. Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Ralph Lauren are just a few of the designers who are relaxing things a bit for the fall. This, in my opinion, makes it easy to incorporate these looks in your signature style.

Men Fashion Tips for 30s
Once you can't find your age on the calendar anymore, you know you're entering a new stage in your life. After the questioning quarter-life crisis years come your thirties, a time when you're torn between the changing twenties and static forties. For most men, fashion and style tend to change quite a bit during this period, too.

Men’s clothing for the thirty year olds has seen various trends ranging from French casuals and mode casuals to the select shop boom. Men in their 30s would have developed a discriminating eye towards fashion trends. You tend to seek a sense of sophistication while still being able to enjoy and wear fashion to your work as well as leisure. (Correct me if this is not what you experienced now)
Fashion Tips: Dos and Don'ts for Men in 30s
Men Hair Styles
Avoid jazzy hairdos or hair colors as that is the style for the younger generation. Even if you had tried on something earlier that suited you, it may not necessarily look good on you now. Also you will not be able to change your entire dressing to suit the hairstyle. Stick to comfortable hairstyles parting your hair the way it suits you best.
Skinny and Loose Clothing
Skinny and tight fitting clothes do not suit 30 year olds as they would have a more masculine body by then. Also shiny finishes and flashy prints are best left to youngsters.
Avoid loose baggy tops and pants as they would make men look stouter and sloppy.

Others Fashion Tips
As thirties is the time men indulge more in sports and physical activities like hiking, fishing and golfing, men should plan to keep their wardrobe stuffed accordingly. Keep a pair of comfortable t-shirts, cargo trousers, jeans, hats that fit the head snugly and protect the face from bright sunlight and sun glasses (avoid the fancy types, stick to black or brown tints), belts and sports shoes.

Man Fashion: Top 5 Swim Trunks for This Summer
As far as men’s swimwear goes, swim trunks are the most basic sort of swimwear. This does not mean that swim trunks are not great men’s swimwear and in fact, I do see swim trunks are back to trends. This is because men of any age can wear swim trunks, from young boys to old men. Most important, I like swim trunks more than "speedo" because they usually have a lining so that they are very comfortable, less revealing and they are not too terribly long either, so you can still tan your legs.
So if you are thinking of getting yourself a new swimwear, let see what I got to offer here.
1. Black and White
The most important rule of summer fashion: don't get complicated.
And the simplest way to swim is in black and white — checkers, stripes, polka dots, solids, whatever. None of it will get old — one pair should last you five summers.

2. Bay Watch Red
Always in style, a shock of red is the ultimate beach color and suits any skin tone. Plus, you'll look like you know what you're doing. Just don't pair it with a lifeguard buoy — that would be overboard.

3. Retro Neon
Add a little bit (or a lot) to your swimsuit for an unexpectedly sporty twist on one of the year's hottest fashion trends. Sundek and Quiksilver both make variations that have become iconic surfer-scene staples.

4. Walk the Bar
After showering off, throw on sandals and a clean polo on top of these. They're close enough to shorts that you can roll up to the beach club without worrying about judgmental stares.

5. Aquatic-Themed
There are limits to where, when, and how a man can wear animal print.
Remember to limit to marine creatures rather than land dwellers.

Man Fashion Tips: Tricks to Trimp Mens Look
Dad probably gave you a lot of advice - some of which you've chosen to ignore. Maybe he tried to regale you with stories of how things were done in "his day."
Did he ever mention trips to the tailor?

Working with a tailor to retrofit both old and new clothes was once considered commonplace, especially for men who wanted sleeve lengths adjusted on suit jackets, trousers taken in or let out as their weight fluctuated, and fabric tears on their favorite garments repaired.
But then came fast fashion: You buy what you need for that moment in whatever size you are at the time, with no consideration of longevity. Once there's a rip or the fabric pulls too tight, its service is no longer needed.
Don't be surprised, though, if the pendulum swings back toward the tailor, a service often offered by retailers for a small fee, and sometimes for free. The fashion industry says consumers are showing a greater interest in timeless styles and well-made investment pieces, and if you are going to have clothes for a long time, you may as well make sure they fit properly.
You may look a little trimmer in the process. So start to look for professional tailor today and get your cloth fix.

Man Fashion: Detox Your Wardrobe
While I was clearing some of the old stuffs in my wardrobe few week ago, I realized that there were tons of clothes that I'm no longer wearing. Do you think the same?

So if a sense of wellness can be achieved through detoxifying my body, the same surely can be said of my wardrobe. So I finally got some time today to "detoxifying". Like a physical detox (for those who experienced), I have to plan ahead, ie. set aside half a day for de-cluttering and ensure no distractions too. Do remember to put some of your favorite music on.
To be frank with you, this was not really a pleasant exercise. Like what I called this as detoxing the wardrobe, I finally treated this as serious as like detoxing my body. Be brutal and decisive.
So let me shared these Top 5 questions that I asked myself:-
Why not start your detoxifying your wardrobe to welcome the new Summer this year?

- Have I worn this garment in the past 1 year?
- Is this still in Fashion? If you still have the deconstructed 90s dress, or even further back, then the answer to this is NO, dispose it.
- Does it still Fit? Like what I shared with you the other day on my previous post, when you feel you cannot fit into that pair of khakis pant you bought last summer, then the answer is dispose it.
- Do you have any sentimental feelings toward this pair of garment? Consider if you have any sentimental attachment toward any clothes especially the first dress that you bought with your first pay check. When you can say No, then dispose it.
- Did it cost over $500? If this is really expensive, you might want to consider retain it. However, if you can decisive and say No to this, dispose it.

Thongs (flip-flops)
Thongs

Sports sandals
This footwear is waterproof, with an athletic sole for traction. Mens Sport Sandals
usually have several wide cross straps that go over the foot for support.
The airy, yet well-structured, design makes the shoes good for rafting, hiking or golf (on public courses), among other outdoor summer activities. When wearing them casually, match them with jeans, shorts or chinos.
Mens Sport Sandals
are available in rubber, polyurethane or vinyl, as well as a range of colors and shades.
Dress sandals
These are a slightly more formal version of the sports sandal, except leather replaces rubber, and metal buckles replace Velcro straps.

The increase in formality makes Dress Sandals
wearable at spring and summer time outdoor events/functions, and with linen suits.

Man Fashion: What is Cost Per Wear?
As I shared with you before, in this economy turmoil, We’ve all been faced with the dilemma of finding the right clothing to add to our wardrobe as well as justification to spend the amount of cash, more so for these days, fashionable items can cost a pretty penny. So, the great way is to adopt the mathematic calculation that I shared with you previously, cost per wear (CPW). To figure out how to save money with the CPW formula, simply divide the original cost of the item by the estimated number of times you will wear that item. When you look at it this way, you’re looking at a way to save money with the CPW formula.

Let’s take a pair of pricey men’s jeans for example: High-end jeans have become pretty commonplace and are now a necessary item to have in your closet. For the average man, a $150 pair of jeans will probably yield 40 wears over the course of a year. We’d apply the CPW formula by taking the price divided by the number of wears — in this case it’s $150/50. Suddenly, the $200 pair of jeans that you’ve been eyeing becomes a sensible purchase once you apply the CPW formula and realize you’re essentially paying $3 per wear.

Keep in mind, an acceptable cost per wear will vary from person to person. A few factors should go into determining a CPW that is right for you. Start by calculating your annual clothing budget and the number of garments you are likely to buy over the course of a year. Try to cover the following categories:
So keep in mind that this article is not trying to ask you to spend more. Rather, more about spending wisely. Make your dollars make sense and use the CPW formula to save money and set your mind at ease the next time you’re face-to-face with a hefty price point.

Man Fashion: Hair Color and Spectacle
Came back from my short break, and first thing came to my mind was to check my mails, mostly some RSS I signed up and couple of mails from my friends. Ultimately, I came across one of the mail from the readers asking hair color and spectacle frame. So I thought of answering this question here to benefit the rest of the blog readers as well.

Hair Color and Frames
Of course when we talked about hair color, we also should not over look your eye color too.
